The Kahuna Valley is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit Hawaii corporation founded by Francesco Garri Garripoli and Daisy Lee as a shared vision to create educational programs and initiatives for children and adults. Their combined backgrounds and caring hearts help to bring a loving energy to the community projects, workshops and facilities at the Kahuna Valley Retreat. This retreat is a meeting place for people to learn about the healing arts, sharing good Qi energy, and inspiring others through the incredible mana (life energy) of Kauai. The many community projects including those with the East Kaua`i Drug Prevention Education Team (EKDPET) touch hundreds of families on Kaua`i and neighboring islands of Hawaii.

Francesco Garri Garripoli enjoys being an author, television producer, Qigong instructor, Certified Watsu Practitioner and wellness advocate. Francesco left a full medical school scholarship at the University of Colorado to come to Hawaii in 1977 and study energy healing with an 81 year-old Master. This was the beginning of his understanding the healthcare benefits of merging Eastern and Western philosophies. His documentary "Qigong: Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century" which he shot while living and studying with renowned Masters in China for two years, airs on PBS Television and has been seen by some 88 million viewers worldwide and he created an award-winning instructional Qigong DVD series where he is featured with Daisy Lee. Francesco, author of "Qigong - Essence of the Healing Dance" and "Tao of the Ride", teaches workshops, appears on radio and television and lectures around the world, and leads groups of travelers to study Qigong in India, Thailand, Bhutan, and from its source in China each year. Chairman of Kahuna Valley, his hope is to bring practical energy healing exercise to children and adults... a prayer for a guy who's been known to sell his favorite Harley to follow his heart and dreams…

Daisy Lee, President of Kahuna Valley, is a writer, filmmaker, Qigong teacher, and nutritional health consultant. Together with Francesco, she helped found the Kahuna Valley Retreat, a place where students can go to learn the energy healing arts in a truly healing environment. Daisy also studied the martial arts for several years, including styles such as Choy Lee Fat, Northern Legs, Southern Fists, Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Mantis, Yang Style Tai Chi and Shotokan Karate. Her emphasis on healing is her primary focus and she devotes much of her time offering private health consultations assisting people with dietary analysis and nutritional supplementation.. Daisy has developed and teaches Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women's Health and Empowerment and offers workshops, health consultations and energy healing throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan.
